At Shaping Futures, our model is based on designing appropriate accommodation around participants and partnering with the right stakeholders to achieve the most appropriate home, services and supports. Participants will be included throughout the process about choices for their disability supports.
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a range of housing designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs.
SDA dwellings have accessible features to help residents live more independently and allow other supports to be delivered better or more safely.
SDA is different to other types of supports such as SIL, ILO, MTA, and STA.
SDA is just the house and accommodation side of the supports- it doesn’t involve your direct supports.

We prioritize the unique needs and preferences of each resident, ensuring that our accommodation is tailored to their comfort and convenience.
We will work closely with residents, their families, and support providers to create a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters growth and well-being.
Our homes are designed to be accessible, incorporating features that enhance safety and independence.
Our vision is where people with disabilities are appropriately supported and valued by their environments and systems that they interact with.
Our mission is to deliver quality SDA homes that helps participants to live as independently as possible and enables them to achieve their personal goals.
